Our amazing Foothills and Glaciers tour will take you into the heart of Alberta's wilderness, whilst also giving you chance to witness the great tourism attractions of Jasper and Banff National Parks and the Icefields Parkway
Day 1 Our support vehicle will pick you up at the Airport And Transport you to our Starting point Hideaway Cabin in Nordegg, where your expert guide will go through the Bikes with you and we will take a short Skill Level Ride. exploring the many trails around this historic Mining settlement.
Day 2 North This is our first true day off road exploring 200km of the "Forestry Trunk Rd" traditionally still a working route its made up in various parts of anything from loose mud and shale to graded gravel, some sections will prove challenging, but your guide will keep the pace suitable for all levels of rider we will take time to explore trails off this route, including (conditions permitting) the Pembina River Rd and Brazeau canyon, Over night is your choice of Wild camping or Provincial Campground. with the opportunity to finish the day in the world famous Miette Hot Springs.
Day 3 Entering the Jasper National Park, we will take a small detour on the road to Jasper to explore Maligne lake, and Maligne falls, then off to Jasper town site to look at the amazing tourist facilities. in the afternoon We will then head south to The Icefields parkway,one of the top 10 scenic drives in the world taking in the Columbia glacier, and returning back to Hideaway cabin
Day 4 This time we will head south on the forestry trunk road, a much less traveled route but offering the opportunity to see Ram River falls, and all the trails down as far as Waiporus Village this is the true heart of the Alberta foothills, and your guide will again give you the option of Wild camping or Provincial campground.
Day 5 we head in to the Banff National Park, with plenty of time to explore Banff and the surrounding area including the historic Highway 1A with over night being one of Banff's fantastic hotels, and chance to enjoy some nightlife.
Day 6 is our big road day with a circular route from Banff to Radium in British Columbia, Golden, Trail, Lake louise, Then up the Icefields parkway Via Bow Summit, to return to our base in Nordegg at Hideaway Cabin
Day 7 after a relaxing evening round the campfire we will pack and conclude our adventure and return you to the airport. or other destination..
All our tours are FULLY INCLUSIVE, we do however require a damage deposit at the start of the trip equivalent to $1000CAD in the event of any damage to equipment etc, this will be taken by Cash or credit card, and refunded immediately at the end of the trip
